We are looking for an experienced

Aluminum Die Designer

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing extrusion dies specifically for aluminum components used in curtain wall, window, and facade systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop aluminum extrusion dies for architectural and facade system profiles. Collaborate with product development, engineering, and tooling teams to optimize profile functionality and manufacturability. Analyze technical drawings and specifications to develop efficient die designs that meet project requirements. Review and revise existing die designs to improve performance and extrusion quality. Conduct feasibility studies and simulations as needed to evaluate design performance. Liaise with die makers and extrusion teams to ensure quality and accuracy in production. Maintain detailed design documentation and revision histories.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an aluminum die designer, preferably with exposure to facade systems, curtain walls, or architectural profiles. Strong knowledge of aluminum extrusion processes and die manufacturing. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar). Understanding of thermal break systems, drainage paths, and structural tolerances in facade systems. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Engineering degree or diploma in Mechanical, Industrial Design, or related field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with international facade projects or aluminum system suppliers. Familiarity with tooling and extrusion simulation software. Knowledge of building codes and structural design considerations for facade elements.
