Job Description

Primary Job Responsibilities . To perform application design and engineering across different forms of artificial lift, including material selection, application design, implementation, optimization, and troubleshooting related to: o Sucker Rod Pumps (required) o Progressive Cavity Pumps (required) o Electric Submersible Pumps (preferred) . Building Artificial Lift market positions by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business opportunities in Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait . Screening potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments . Preparing detailed technical installation, operation, and troubleshooting procedures. Preparing technical work instructions for field activities. . Champions new growth and product ideas; leads special projects that have cross-regional or cross-business implications . Develops processes and procedures to understand competition and input to market lead pricing propositions for designated areas . Place, track, and follow up on material orders, and delivery schedules . Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met . Keep detailed records for tracking, trends, inventory, and stats . Prospect for potential new opportunities and turn this into increased business . Build, maintain, and grow positive relationships with clients . Support for initial failure analysis and immediate technical recommendations and reports all developments in a timely manner to line management . Initiates and actively participates in problem solving and continuous improvement processes (including failures, Quality Improvement Processes, and organizational planning and enhancements) .Carefully prepares and provides in a timely manner regular monthly reports, inventory reports,and other requirements requested by line management .Actively promotes good performance through the generation and submission of knowledge-sharing documentation.

Specific Additions to Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions: .To work directly with clients on the design and development of ALS strategies in developing fields .Supporting business opportunities and growth in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Kuwait

Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. .Based in Bahrain but will be required to commute to Saudi Arabia & Kuwait regularly .Travel to other countries of responsibility as needed .Some work is accomplished indoors and in air-conditioned or well-ventilated facilities, and some work will be outdoors and in remote locations in the regional environment .Work may include visits to customer offices or field locations .Work normally is executed in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer.

Job Requirements .Mechanical or Petroleum Engineer .+5 years' engineering experience with Artificial Lift Systems (preference given to SRP, PCP, and ESP).Experience in wellsite automation systems .English language with preference given to Arabic or Spanish as a second language .Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite .Proficient Technical writing skills

Strategic Intent Applications Engineer to work directly with the client on the engineering design and development of ALS strategies in developing fields, and to promote and expand ChampionX's presence in Kuwait during the market growth period
