Overview

We are looking for a skilled AI Automation Engineer to develop a secure, intelligent email assistant that integrates Gmail with ChatGPT (OpenAI). Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement an automated system that reads, analyzes, and responds to emails using AI--streamlining communication with precision and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Set up secure Gmail API access and configure Google OAuth 2.0. Build an automated workflow that reads incoming emails, generates context-aware replies using the ChatGPT API, and sends responses. Utilize automation tools such as Zapier, Make (Integromat), Pipedream, or develop custom solutions using Python or JavaScript. Ensure high standards of error handling, security, and compliance with privacy regulations. Deliver clear documentation and maintenance guidelines for handoff or future updates.

Required Skills

Proven experience with Gmail API and Google Cloud OAuth 2.0. Strong command of OpenAI's GPT-3.5/4 APIs for intelligent text generation. Proficiency in automation tools (Zapier, Make, Pipedream) or custom scripting (Python/Node.js). Solid understanding of AI-powered email workflows and best practices. Deep knowledge of secure data handling and privacy standards.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Google Apps Script, AWS Lambda, or Google Cloud Functions. Understanding of email filtering, routing, and basic NLP concepts. Portfolio showcasing similar automation or AI integration projects.
