Overview of the role: As a key member of our team, you\'ll take ownership of Service and Workshop activities for a range of IR products, including Centrifugal Compressors, Rotary Compressors, Oil Free Compressors, and Airend Overhauling. Your role is crucial in supporting our team within the UAE territory to meet both strategic and tactical objectives. You will work closely with the Service Manager, serving as the primary contact for technical support, service revenue recognition, SMC implementation, and coordination with the inventory team to ensure the timely availability of spare parts for job execution.
What you will do:
  • Contribute to revenue growth, service/parts sales, and customer engagement through effective parts sales process management, with a focus on increasing customer retention and implementing an efficient distribution strategy.
  • Proactively seek out and target lost customers and new sales opportunities, initiating action plans to secure new business for the Division.
  • Manage customer requirements meticulously to ensure on-time delivery, taking into consideration lead times, product specification changes, and evolving customer demands.
  • Develop and nurture strong working relationships with key contacts to foster collaboration and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry regulations, standards, and best practices within the Oil and Gas sector, ensuring compliance and informed decision-making.
  • Maintain the customer base, machine base, service sales volume, product mix, and selling price by staying current with supply and demand, changing market trends, economic indicators, and competitor activity.

Required skills to be successful:
  • Profound product knowledge and service expertise related to various types of compressed air system equipment and associated accessories, with a specialization in Ingersoll Rand Centrifugal Compressors, Sierra Air Compressors, and Lubricated Compressors.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey technical information and ideas.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, showcasing a deep understanding of business principles and strategies.
  • Negotiation skills to facilitate successful business transactions and agreements.
  • The ability to establish and nurture relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in territory mapping and management to optimize sales and service coverage.
  • A collaborative team player mindset, coupled with the ability to manage and lead a team effectively.

What equips you for the role: Extensive After Sales & Services Experience: A background of 5 plus years in After Sales & Services, specifically in Compressors and Dryers, providing you with a deep understanding of the intricacies of the industry. Specialized Ingersoll Rand Training: Completion of Ingersoll Rand training in Centrifugal Compressors and Rotary Compressors, equipping you with the specific knowledge and skills required for this role. Local Experience: Previous working experience in the UAE/ME region in a similar capacity will be a significant advantage, as it demonstrates your familiarity with the local market dynamics and customer needs.
