Currently, we are seeking for AFR - ACC Senior specialist. In this role, the successful candidate is to implement plans and processes as part of the AFR pricing & RFQ/tender management strategy to support the commercial strategy in line with business objectives, corporate guidelines and policies
Key Responsibilities
Implement AFR pricing strategy and activities and respond to pricing enquiries in an efficient and competitive manner
Ensure the timely monitoring and accurate updating of local tariffs
Ensure RFQ development, particularly for high priority RFQs provide detailed guidance and for critical RFQs conduct launch calls
Deliver day-to-day shipment documentation for freight forwarding, assist in development of shipping tenders and ensure on-time submission on relevant documents
Contribute to processes and design systems to enhance service quality and alignment with company’s direction and long-term goals
Ensure, that customer and airline requirements and service, cost and budgetary guidelines are met
Develop and maintain databases with specific information to enable quick responses to specific network queries
Build and secure business relationships with customers and airlines and participate in negotiations
Ensure the preparation of carrier performance reports and reviews
Scan alternatives to enhance services and processes to secure cost-effective and competitive prices and negotiate competitive rates with airline suppliers while meeting desired service specifications and transit time targets
Oversee recent developments of new solutions, services, lane and traffic development
Analyze and provide input for processes and design systems to enhance service quality
Resolve and analyze issues in day-to-day delivery and implement practices for AFR pricing focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency
Provide support on issues and problems from less experienced/new team members, provide direction and guidance as needed
Stakeholders
Convince other subject matter experts to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches
May cooperate with and coordinate 3rd parties e.g. external service providers
Build strong, trusting cross-functional relationships with DPDHL managers
Understand customer and key stakeholders interests and concerns and advise direct reports, customers and key stakeholders
Provide technical guidance to line managers and employees
Management Responsibility
Individual contributor who may manage two or fewer employees
May direct the work of other lower level professionals or manage processes and programs
Coach, review and delegate work to lower level professionals
