Overview of the role
We are looking to recruit experienced Advance Technician – Passenger Car Equipment and Accessories to join our Al Futtaim Global Aftersales Team in Dubai. As an Advance Technician you will ensure that the assigned electrical & mechanical work are executed in line with Principle’s established work procedures and specifications, time standards and housekeeping standards so that the overall objectives of productivity and quality are met or exceeded.
What you will do

• Installing and fitting of vehicle accessories as per new development requirements.
• Installing and fitting the vehicle’s exterior, interior, media, and entertainment accessories depending on vehicle type and model
• Ensure vehicles faults are diagnosed appropriately.
• Overhaul, repair and re assembly complex mechanical components
• Identify and correct any wheel alignment problems.
• Complete relevant service documentation in line with dealer’s requirement
• Access & familiarize the principal’s online repair manual. (Toyota Service Information)

Required skills to be successful

• Experience in installing, fitting or repairing passenger car equipment’s and accessories
• Has expertise in the fitting accessories like AVM, Parking sensors, rear view camera, DVR, IRVM, RSE, navigation, side steps, compressor kit…etc
• Experience with electrical & mechanical works
• Able to read, understand, speak and write English well enough to follow mandated trainings and standard instructions.

About the team
The role will report to the Foreman and you will be working in a busy workshop environment wherein you will be dealing directly with Workshop Supervisor, Service Advisor, Controller, Foreman & co-Technicians in a daily basis.
What equips you for the role

• 3- 5 years’ recent experience in an automotive dealership and must have an excellent technical knowledge in mechanical and electrical repair
• Experience in installing, fitting or repairing passenger car equipment’s and accessories
• Experienced in multi brands cars is a definite advantage!
• Added value in having valid UAE driving license
• Must read, interpret and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records in job orders
• Must be conversant in English
