Overview of the role

We are looking to recruit experienced Advance Technician to join our Al Futtaim Global Aftersales Team in Dubai. You will ensure that the assigned electrical, mechanical work are executed in line with Customer\'s requirements, work procedures and specifications, and time standards so that the overall objectives of productivity and quality are met or exceeded.

What you will do

Execute assigned jobs according to customer\'s established work procedures, requirements, specifications, and time standards.

Installation of new accessories to the new Vehicle for developing the PoC.

Repair vehicle based on automotive standards according to vehicle Repair Manual.

Provide quality workmanship for customer satisfaction. Minimise repeat jobs which lead to loss of time and material.

Request to Team leader to arrange for supplementary parts and labour approval, if needed conduct quality checks as and when necessary.

Ensure use of safety equipment/gear and follow all safety and environmental conservation procedures

Ensure vehicles faults are diagnosed appropriately.

Keep up with new technology, work procedures, time standards and relevant technical know-how to maintain or improve work productivity and quality.

Required skills to be successful

3 to 5 years\' experience in mechanical repairs and periodic maintenance

Ability to use the diagnostic equipment\'s & Special Service Tools to inspect Engine, Transmission, Brake, suspension A/C electrical and hybrid system of the vehicles

Ability to do basic diagnosis, unit repair, AC parts replacement and mechanical repairs.

Ability to follow instructions and procedure

About the team

The role will report to the Workshop Manager and you will be working in a busy workshop environment wherein you will be dealing directly with Service Advisor, Controller, Foreman & co-Technicians in a daily basis.

What equips you for the role

Holder of ITI/SSC/Trade certificate/Vocational Training

3 - 5 years as automotive technician in a reputed workshop

Should read, understand and write English well enough to follow Toyota Training, Job card write up, basic computer knowledge.
