We are seeking a skilled Acoustics MEP Designer with at least 5 years of professional experience in acoustic engineering for building services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems and how they interact with acoustical performance in commercial, residential, and industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
Develop acoustic design solutions integrated with MEP systems.
Perform noise and vibration assessments for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Prepare acoustic modeling, simulations, and technical documentation.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to deliver coordinated design packages.
Conduct site inspections and diagnose acoustic issues related to building services.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements.
Support the development of project proposals and technical reports.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Acoustical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in building acoustics and MEP design.
Proficiency with acoustic modeling software (e.g., EASE, CadnaA, SoundPLAN, or equivalent).
Strong understanding of building services noise control.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and MEP schematics.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
