About the School
Nord Anglia International School Abu Dhabi will be a UK curriculum day school enrolling students from Early Years to Year 13 in the city\'s prestigious residential district Al Reem Island, next to the Sorbonne University campus. Our new school will have the capacity for 2,600 students upon completion. Its first phase of development, opening in September 2023, will include the Early Years building and sports facilities, while the second phase opening in Summer 2024 will include the main Primary and Secondary classrooms.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Accounts Payable/Receivables Officer will provide financial, administrative, and clerical support to the Finance Team.
The main duties of the position are as follows:
Raising tuition fee invoices and liaising with parents regarding payments
Ensuring invoices are properly authorised through the purchase order process and approval limits are adhered to
Posting of invoices and expenses
Various key balance sheet account reconciliations
Daily reconciliation of bank transactions
Processing monthly staff expenses
Administering petty cash

The ideal candidate will be based in Abu Dhabi and will have the following skills and experience:
Bachelor\'s Degree (or equivalent) in accounting or any financial related field
A minimum of 3 years accounting or finance experience
A demonstrable knowledge of financial accounting duties and accounting standards with the UAE.
Advanced experience in accountancy software products such as MS Navision as well as MS Office apps such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
The ability to adhere to strict deadline while maintaining accuracy.
Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate excellent customer relationships within the school community
Experience in education or a learning environment
