Accounts Payable Officer

with a background in the fitness or F&B industry to join our finance team and help manage and streamline our accounts payable processes.

Duties

Process vendor invoices and payments accurately and on time. Match invoices with purchase orders and maintain the accounts payable ledger. Communicate with vendors and resolve payment-related issues. Prepare and process payments, ensuring proper record-keeping. Reconcile accounts payable with the general ledger and prepare reports. Ensure compliance with policies and maintain documentation for audits.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Professional accounting certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA, CA) are a plus.

Experience

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in the fitness or food and beverage (F&B) industries. Familiarity with accounting software (Xero Certified, SAP, QuickBooks), Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience in processing high volumes of invoices and managing vendor relationships.

Skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Solid understanding of accounting principles and best practices. Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders. Knowledge of industry-specific accounting practices (e.g., for fitness or F&B businesses) is highly advantageous.
