The Position

As an Accounts Payable Accountant you will be responsible for supporting the growth and operation of a business by managing invoices and maintaining important financial documentation, in addition to supporting the company in optimizing the financial transactions and systems in connection with the GBS AP team, Strengthen and grow relationships with vendors and suppliers through timely payment, and Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable process.

Your main responsibilities will include:

. Process vendors' invoices and support central team "GBS" with all required data and ensure timely vendor payment and compliance with payment terms. . Reconcile vendors' monthly statements of account and confirm balances and prepare monthly vendors' & employees' accounts aging reports. . Prepare and Support the finance team in internal and external auditors' requirements. . Performs User Acceptance Tests during SAP and accounting-related system upgrades. . Responsible for the vendors-related month-end closing process including preparation of accruals.

Qualifications

We are expecting you to hold a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and the below skills and knowledge: . 1- 3 years of relevant experience in Accounts payable is required in Pharma or prior FMCG companies. . SAP or ERP system experience is preferred. . Good knowledge of accounting controls and processes in an ERP environment is preferred. . Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact closely with various departments and levels internally. . Strong process orientation with strong attention to detail.

About the Department

The team handles the accounting and month-end closing tasks for Novo Nordisk Saudi Company and you will be reporting into the Finance Manager who is responsible for Accounting and financial compliance function within Finance & Operations department.
