This is a full-time on-site Accountant role located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, analyzing financial data, preparing budgets and financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The Accountant will also work closely with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and help with decision-making. The Accountant will also be responsible for coordinating with suppliers, logistics companies, and customers for order management, product delivery, transportation logistics, reconciling orders, preparing invoices, and managing accounts from end to end.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Organizational and time management skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience with UAE VAT requirements
Understanding of UAE corporate tax requirements
Experience in the audio-visual or distribution industry is a plus
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in logistics and accounts coordination, preferably in a trading and distribution company
Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management concepts, including incoterms, transportation documentation, and customs procedures
