Job Description
Major Food industrial firm located in Al Ras, Dubai looking for an Accountant to fulfil the accounting & billing tasks. The candidates shall be having Bachelors degree in Accounting & Commerce and shall have minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role in UAE.
Required Skills/ Qualifications
Graduate Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. 3+ years of progressive professional experience in accounting, including leadership or supervisory roles. Knowledge of UAE tax regulations, and compliance standards. Proficiency in accounting software, such as Focus/ QuickBooks/ SAP, or similar platforms, and experience with ERP systems. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Job description
Invoicing and Payments:
Create and send client invoices accurately and on time; process incoming payments and issue receipts.Accounts Receivable Management:
Track and monitor customer accounts, update the accounts receivable database, and follow up on overdue balances.Discrepancy Resolution:
Investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies or issues, and communicate with clients to solve their problems.Reporting and Reconciliation:
Generate reports on billing activity, assist with month-end closing, and perform account reconciliations.Financial Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and organized billing and accounts payable/receivable records.Job Type: Full-time
