Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance
Manage day-to-day accounting tasks and financial record-keeping using
Xero
.
Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Support payroll preparation in compliance with Australian employment standards.
Track company expenses and maintain petty cash records.
Assist in preparing documentation for audits when required.
Human Resources Administration
Maintain accurate employee files, HR documents, and confidential records.
Coordinate recruitment activities including job posting, screening, and interview scheduling.
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes.
Monitor attendance and leave records.
Assist in employee performance evaluation documentation and HR compliance.
Support internal communication regarding HR policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Experience using Xero is required
(including accounting and payroll modules).
Previous experience in
Accounting, HR Administration, or Business Support
roles.
Strong understanding of accounting principles; knowledge of Australian HR and payroll regulations is an advantage.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Skills
Experience with payroll processing in Australia.
Proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
