Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team in Dubai. This pivotal role involves leading a small, dedicated team of qualified accountants across our offices in Dubai and Beirut.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Supervise and mentor a team of accountants, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all accounting tasks.Financial Reporting:
Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).Audit Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and manage the year-end audit process.Internal Controls:
Maintain and improve the company's internal control systems to safeguard assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.Financial Analysis:
Provide insightful financial analysis to management to support strategic decision-making.Policy and Procedure:
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Cross-Border Coordination:
Collaborate effectively with the Beirut team to ensure seamless financial operations across both locations.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, ACA) is highly desirable. Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Mandatory:
Strong audit experience, either from a professional services firm or in a senior internal audit role.Essential:
In-depth knowledge of and hands-on experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).Advantageous:
Experience with corporate tax regulations and reporting (VAT, corporate tax, etc.).Job Type: Full-time
