Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to support the Finance team with daily accounting tasks. This internship offers hands-on experience in accounting operations, financial reporting, and data analysis in a professional setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger postings
- Help prepare and analyze financial reports and statements
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes
- Organize and maintain financial records and documentation
- Assist with audits and other compliance tasks
- Process invoices, expense reports, and payments
- Participate in ad hoc projects and administrative support as needed
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior internship or coursework in accounting/finance
