Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our team. This internship provides hands-on experience in accounting, bookkeeping, tax compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will support our accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with client accounts, and ensuring compliance with UAE accounting and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing and posting journal entries, invoices, and receipts. Support in maintaining general ledger accounts and reconciling balances. Help prepare VAT and Corporate Tax filings under UAE regulations. Assist in monthly and quarterly closing processes. Organize and maintain financial records and documentation. Perform data entry and basic bookkeeping tasks in accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar). Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports. Support the team with client projects, audits, and compliance requirements. Conduct research on accounting/tax matters as assigned. Carry out administrative tasks to support the accounting department.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree (ongoing or completed) in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Basic knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS knowledge is a plus). Familiarity with accounting software is preferred but not required. Strong MS Excel and analytical skills. Attention to detail with high accuracy in work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
