We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive
Accounts Assistant
to support the finance department with day-to-day accounting tasks and administrative duties. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting principles and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with
daily bookkeeping and data entry
in accounting systems (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).
Handle
accounts payable and receivable
, invoice processing, and expense claims.
Reconcile
bank statements
and supplier statements.
Assist in preparing
VAT filings
and other compliance-related documentation (in accordance with UAE regulations).
Support the preparation of
monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
.
Maintain accurate and organized
financial records and documentation
.
Liaise with vendors, clients, and auditors as required.
Provide
administrative support
to the finance team.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in
Accounting, Finance, or a related field
.
1-3 years of relevant experience (UAE experience is a plus).
Proficient in
MS Excel
and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks).
Knowledge of
UAE VAT
regulations preferred.
Strong
attention to detail
and organizational skills.
Good
communication skills
in English (Arabic is a plus).
