Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified professional to join the team as the Senior Accountant preferably from the HORECA Sector. The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of hands-on experience in financial leadership. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This is a critical leadership role that requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of Restaurant sector, and exceptional management abilities.

Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy and Planning:

Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and long-term growth plans.

Analyze financial data to provide accurate and timely insights for decision-making.Collaborate with the executive team to evaluate and optimize investment opportunities.

Ensure the implementation of effective financial planning and budgeting processes.

Financial Operations:

Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement or risk mitigation. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. Implement and maintain robust internal controls and risk management systems.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare financial reports, statements, and forecasts for management, shareholders, and regulatory bodies. Conduct financial analysis and provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes affecting the HORECA sector.

Development:

Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes accountability and excellence. Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and achieve organizational objectives.Accounts Receivable (AR) Process: Oversee group-level AR, to ensure accurate and timely billing, collections, and reconciliations.

Other Activities :

Month-end and Year-end Close: Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all necessary adjustments, accruals, and reconciliations are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Fixed Asset Accounting: Manage the group Fixed Asset Register, ensuring proper recording of asset acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation calculations in accordance with accounting standards. Petty Cash Accounting: Supervise the petty cash accounting function for the group, including disbursements, reconciliations, and compliance with internal controls. Audit and Compliance: Coordinate and support external and internal audits, ensuring the timely and accurate provision of information. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and accounting standards. Calculate and Filling VAT on FTA Portal

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
