Job Description
A Single Family Office is looking to hire a qualified Accountant, educated to degree level, to join a dynamic and expanding Family Office based in Dubai. You will be responsible for financial reporting, cash management and overseeing transaction processing, tax and insurance. The role offers scope for developing and streamlining systems and controls. There is also scope for career progression in the role. You should be able to present financial information clearly and concisely but also be comfortable with detailed analysis if required. This position will suit an individual who is discreet and adaptable and who will enjoy the variety and learning opportunities a Family Office role affords. Duties will include:
- Management reporting to include monthly and annual reports, trend analysis and exception reporting
- Responsible for month-end and year-end close of financial statements, account reconciliations, general ledger analysis, and annual audits
- Preparation of information needed for tax returns and liaison with tax advisers
- Cash flow forecasting
- Maintenance of personal and trading accounting records and oversight of bill payment
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Other projects and assistance as required
