We are an accounting services agency supporting small and medium businesses in the UAE.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our growing team. This role involves working closely with a Junior Accountant and collaborating with a Client Manager who handles direct client communication. The Accountant is responsible for preparing tax filings, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and actively participating in both review and operational accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with a Junior Accountant: share workload, review the work, and handle tasks directly when needed Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with IFRS and UAE requirements Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) Prepare VAT and Corporate Tax filings, ensuring compliance with FTA regulations Process monthly payroll through WPS Handle client bank payments (online banking transactions, approvals, scheduling) Perform and review reconciliations, journal entries, and adjustments Support accounting system setup and automation (Zoho Books and other platforms) Collaborate with the Client Manager to ensure smooth delivery of financial data to clients and auditors

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in the UAE Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT, Corporate Tax, and WPS regulations in the UAE Proficiency in accounting software (Zoho Books experience is a plus) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Team-oriented, with the ability to both mentor junior staff and work hands-on
