Senior Accountant (Remote - UAE Based)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee and manage the end-to-end accounting operations for a prestigious luxury high-end retail brand based in the UAE. This is a remote position, but candidates must be residing in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and other statutory requirements
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage year-end closing
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls
- Support in financial analysis and business decision-making
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, preferably in retail or luxury goods
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and UAE financial regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP systems)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Must be currently located in the UAE and available to join immediately
- Preference will be given to Filipino candidates due to business requirements
- Salary: AED 8,000 per month
