1. Financial Transactions & General Ledger Management
Record and manage day-to-day accounting transactions using Odoo ERP in line with IFRS and QCB regulations.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings within Odoo.
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable Management
Manage vendor invoices, payments, employee reimbursements, and merchant settlements through Odoo.
Issue and track customer invoices, monitor collections, and ensure the accuracy of accounts receivable balances.
Reconcile supplier and customer statements periodically to ensure financial integrity.
3. Financial Reporting & Analysis
Generate financial reports, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports using Odoo's reporting features.
Support the preparation of budget reports, variance analyses, and cost control reports.
Provide financial insights and dashboards for internal management and regulatory reporting.
4. Bank Reconciliation & Treasury Support
Manage bank reconciliations, petty cash, and cash flow monitoring through integrated Odoo modules.
Assist in fund transfers, payroll disbursement, and transaction settlements as per treasury requirements.
5. Regulatory Compliance & Audit Support
Ensure compliance with QCB financial reporting standards, AML/CTF requirements, and internal audit standards.
Prepare documentation and reports for internal audits, external audits, and QCB inspections.
Maintain audit trails and support the CFO in all regulatory reporting requirements.
6. Taxation & VAT Compliance
Assist in VAT accounting, filing, and compliance with Qatar's tax regulations.
Ensure proper recording of VAT transactions and timely tax submissions.
7. Odoo ERP Optimization & Financial System Integrity
Continuously improve Odoo workflows, reporting templates, and financial automation processes.
Collaborate with the IT team to resolve system issues, suggest upgrades, and implement process enhancements.
Train finance team members on best practices for using Odoo for accounting and financial reporting.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CMA, CPA) are preferred.
3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in FinTech, banking, or financial services sectors.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience using Odoo ERP for accounting and financial management.
