Record and review daily and monthly accounting entries.
Monitor payments and receipts, ensuring accuracy of financial records.
Prepare payroll and manage deductions and insurance.
Track project costs, recording expenses related to materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
Prepare periodic financial reports such as Profit & Loss statements and project budgets.
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to verify invoices and payments.
Collaborate with project teams to generate cost reports and financial analysis.
Ensure compliance with local accounting laws and international accounting standards (IFRS).
Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
3-5 years of experience in contracting companies, preferably in MEP projects.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Zoho, Odoo, QuickBooks, or any ERP system.
Strong financial analysis skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of UAE accounting laws and taxation.
Excellent communication, organization, and ability to work under pressure.
