Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team at the IIQAF. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our organization and ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and balance general ledger accounts by verifying, allocating, and reconciling transactions Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll Prepare and review financial statements and reports, including balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and cash flow statement Conduct thorough financial analysis and provide recommendations to management for cost reduction and revenue enhancement Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations Collaborate with other departments to develop and monitor budgets and financial forecasts Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations Monitor and report on variances in financial results and provide explanations for any discrepancies Assist in the preparation of annual audits and liaise with auditors to ensure successful completion

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA or equivalent certification is preferred Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance role Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Proficient in financial management software and MS Office Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure Excellent written and verbal communication skills
