Job Description

A construction, maintenance, and joinery company in Dubai is seeking a

full-time Accountant

to be based at its

factory/warehouse

.
The role involves handling

day-to-day accounting operations

, financial reporting, invoicing, payments, and coordination with management.

This position requires a

hands-on accountant

who understands

operational businesses

, not just book entries.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Finance

Maintain

accurate books of accounts

(daily entries, journals, ledgers). Prepare

monthly financial statements

, profit & loss, and balance sheets. Track expenses, petty cash, and operational costs. Reconcile bank statements and cash accounts.

Invoicing & Receivables

Prepare and issue

sales invoices

for maintenance, joinery, and project works. Track

outstanding invoices

and follow up on receivables. Maintain customer statements and aging reports.

Payables & Payments

Track supplier invoices and expenses. Prepare

payment schedules

for vendors and subcontractors. Coordinate cheque, bank transfer, and cash payments. Maintain supplier statements and reconciliations.

Operations & Compliance

Maintain records for

VAT filing and compliance

. Support audits and management reporting. Coordinate with operations, procurement, and site teams for cost tracking. Maintain organized financial records and documentation.

Requirements

3-6 years of experience

as an accountant in the UAE. Experience working with

contracting, maintenance, joinery, or manufacturing companies

preferred. Strong knowledge of

UAE VAT regulations

. Proficiency in

accounting software

(Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, or similar). Strong Excel skills. Detail-oriented and well-organized. Must be currently based in the UAE.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in

Accounting, Finance, or Commerce

. Experience in

factory or warehouse-based accounting

. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Salary & Benefits

Salary:

AED 1,800 -2,800/month

(based on experience) Visa provided as per UAE labour law Stable, long-term role
