Keep track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, and statements
Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
Maintain historical records
Pay employees by verifying expense reports and preparing paychecks
Pay vendors by scheduling paychecks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; respond to all vendor inquiries regarding finance
Prepare analyses of accounts and produce monthly reports
Continuously improve the payment process
Requirements and skills:
A great understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting skills is required
A degree in Finance, Economics, Business Studies, or Accounting is beneficial
Attention to detail and data entry skills
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Punctuality and critical thinking skills
Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively
Ability to adapt and foster a strong work ethic
