Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage and oversee our financial
operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices,
experience with financial reporting and analysis, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced
environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts to
ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Account Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all
transactions are accurately recorded and classified.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts,
providing insights and recommendations to support financial planning.
Expense Tracking: Monitor and process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and
accurate payments and collections.
Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation
and explanations of financial transactions and processes.
Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and
federal tax regulations.
Financial Analysis: Conduct variance analysis and provide detailed financial analysis to support
decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
Documentation: Maintain organized and accurate financial records, ensuring all
documentation is readily accessible for review and compliance purposes.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the
efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent
certification is preferred.
Experience: 1+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a consulting or professional
services environment.
