Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Duties:
Maintain accurate books of accounts and general ledgers.
Prepare and process journal entries, vouchers, and bank reconciliations.
Handle petty cash and record daily financial transactions.
Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports and assist in budgeting.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Coordinate with auditors for periodic audits.
Ensure compliance with VAT and other statutory requirements.
Procurement Duties:
Source and evaluate suppliers, request quotations, and negotiate pricing.
Issue Purchase Orders and track order status.
Maintain procurement records and vendor database.
Coordinate with warehouse and project teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Monitor inventory levels and reorder stock as needed.
Ensure all purchases are cost-effective and of approved quality.
Maintain procurement documentation in line with company policy.
Key Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
Strong MS Excel and data entry skills.
Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations (if applicable).
Good negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and manage deadlines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting and procurement.
Experience in the construction or trading industry is a plus.
