Job Description



We are working with a dynamic events agency based in Dubai, passionately crafting unforgettable brand experiences globally for some of the world\'s most prestigious brands. This global group prides themselves on delivering flawless experiences anchored in meticulous planning and execution.

The team in Dubai is growing and we are looking for an experienced Account Manager to enter the fold. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining and growing key client accounts, with a focus on the automotive, fintech, and luxury sectors. The successful candidate will possess the necessary competencies to engage clients on a strategic level, understanding the pivotal role of events in the marketing and communications mix. Operating as a consultant to our clients, you will lead pitches and collaborate closely with our event management team with a primary responsibility for event delivery.

Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their objectives and ensuring the delivery of tailored solutions.
Strategic Engagement:
  • Engage clients on a strategic level, advising on the role of events in the broader marketing and communications strategy.
Consultative Approach:
  • Operate as a consultant to clients, understanding their business needs and providing innovative event solutions.
Proposal Development:
  • Lead pitches and work closely with the event management team to develop comprehensive proposals aligned with client objectives.
Account Growth:
  • Identify opportunities for organic growth within existing client accounts and collaborate with the sales team to secure new business.
Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, particularly the event management team, to ensure seamless delivery of client projects.
Budget Management:
  • Responsible for managing budgets and ensuring financial objectives are met.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in account management in the events industry.
  • Understanding of the automotive, fintech, and luxury event sectors.
  • Excellent strategic and consultative skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow client accounts.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
