Job Purpose

This role is based within Pearson Workforce Skills vertical - in the Performance Zone MENAT Region. Pearson delivers career and skill-based qualifications and services in more than 50 countries, but we believe we are just scratching the surface in terms of meeting demand.

The WFS Account Manager will work closely with the local team and colleagues across our markets to promote Workforce Skills Qualifications, managing and growing key accounts in the WFS segment of the MENAT territory.

The main objective of this role is to support customers to achieve agreed sales targets across the region through administrative and advisory support to existing customers.

Key Accountabilities:

Promote Pearson\'s Vocational Qualifications (BTEC, LCCI, Pearson Assured) and its services to all Vocational Education Institutions in the assigned countries within the MENAT territories.

Provide customers with a range of support to secure existing business against agreed targets in liaison with Regional Development Managers and Regional Manager. This includes and not exclusive to

resolving existing customer queries,

applying special fees/discounts as agreed by Regional Manager

processing qualification approval documentation for customers and following up with team members to expedite the process

Liaising with Credit control teams and customer in resolving bad debt collection

Liaise with the International Quality and Training teams to ensure customers have been allocated an International Standards Verifier/Quality Advisor in a timely fashion, as to ensure agreed revenue targets are not impacted.

Secure targeted growth against agreed targets, through maintaining existing business, developing opportunities within existing customer base for upselling or cross selling Pearson products.

Collaborate with other account managers within the Line of Business or with others to upsell/cross-sell Pearson products and services.

Use Sales Force on daily basis to build an effective sales pipeline through entering sales opportunities and analyzing data on a variety of critical business drivers.

Maintain regular communication and conduct annual business review with the assigned key accounts

Proactively keep up to date on industry and customer specific issues

Skills / capabilities:

Essential

Excellent relationships management and interpersonal skills

Strong analytical skills, including historical sales analysis, pricing, and forecasting.

Strong communication, problem-solving, negotiation and influencing skills plus an ability to operate in a matrix-reporting environment.

Able to operate effectively alone, and to work through challenges independently, as well as part of a multi-country team

Excellent spoken and written command of English (and Arabic preferably).

Experience in using Sales Force

Experience of working within the education sector

This is a hybrid-working role, with a minimum number of days a week in the office space.
