Job Description

ChampionX has an immediate need for an Account Manager based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This role will be part of the sales team organization that will support in growing the oil and gas field chemical technology business for Oil and Gas segment. This role will manage the respective sales for the assigned account and build robust client relationships by delivering value added solutions and services for ChampionX existing and new customers.

What You Will Do: ? Follow safety policies to provide a safe workplace for all employees and supports the guiding principles of Goal Zero. Drive culture of safety; Report safety observations / incidents. ? Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in current and new customers, including plant facilities and executives. Leverage external network to pursue business opportunities within assigned accounts. ? Review the standards terms and conditions of the current customers as well as the new customers and understand the requirement and commitment of the new contracts/agreements ? Write the technical and commercial proposals to our customers ? Good understanding of the upstream oil and gas industry ? Participate effectively in the weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual business plan meeting to set the target sales per area and product line, as well as providing feedback on the +/- revenue and forecast ? Forecast the volumes per products per area on a monthly basis and provide feedback and explanation on the +/- volumes for each product ? Update the market information/intel and track the new activities on a monthly basis (market sales pyramid) ? Delivering a value to our customers and capture/communicate the value back to them ? Liaise with the supply chain continuously to ensure the raw materials availability and production plans to ensure the supply continuity to our customers ? Liaise with the other support fictions (R&D, business development, technical teams, marketing team) to ensure smooth communications and meet the target plans ? Review the chemical injection rates of all production chemicals per account to ensure an accurate forecast in JDA ? Ensure lines of communication to Company Representatives and Company Site Representatives are maintained to successfully deliver contract scope. ? Liaise between client and R&D department to scope and execute specialized application and suggest corrective actions/ optimization. ? Review and provide recommendation related to the oil and gas chemical treatment, when needed ? Develop strategy document related to chemical treatment programs ? Provide product and application recommendation and associated reports as appropriate. ? Conduct and manage product selection program, testing and evaluation as well as deployment and associated monitoring strategies.

Minimum Education and Experience: ? Education: Chemical Engineer / Chemistry / Metallurgy / Materials Engineering or equivalent ? 8 - 10 years' experience in Production Chemicals applications in Oil and Gas Industry ? Thorough knowledge of the upstream oil and gas applications. ? Good understanding of the chemical treatment programs in the upstream oil and gas, especially (corrosion, Demulsifier, scale, bacteria and water treatment) ? Thorough experience in Saudi Oil & Gas Market. Knowledge in project engineering consultancy and EPC is a plus. ? Knowledge of general confidential information policies, procedures and regulations that governs employee and employer confidentiality, and of company confidentiality policies and procedures. ? Willingness to travel and relocate when required ? Adhering to company's safety policies
