Design, modify, and prepare 3D models using Blender or similar software.
Ensure files are optimized, watertight, and ready for printing (STL/OBJ, G-code).
Operate and maintain 3D printers (SLA, SLS, FDM, CNC) and perform routine maintenance.
Use print-prep software (Magics, Netfabb, PreForm, etc.) to set up and manage jobs.
Troubleshoot print issues and maintain clean, organized work areas.
Inspect and check print quality, correcting defects and improving processes.
Collaborate with engineers, artists, and clients to meet project needs.
Provide updates, training, and support to team members and clients.
Document jobs, revisions, and maintenance records.
Required Skills
3+ years' experience in 3D modeling for additive manufacturing.
Proficiency in Blender (preferred) or Maya, 3ds Max, ZBrush, Rhino3D.
Hands-on experience with print-prep software (Magics, Netfabb, PreForm, Lychee, etc.).
Strong knowledge of SLA, SLS, FDM, MJF technologies and materials.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and independent working skills.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have)
Experience with 3D scanning and data processing (Geomagic, Artec).
CAD knowledge (Fusion 360, SolidWorks).
Post-processing experience (sanding, priming, painting).
Basic G-code or machine operation knowledge.
Portfolio showing the full process from model to final print.
