Produce detailed 2D drawings including plans, sections, elevations, and joinery details for interior fit-out and joinery projects.
Translate conceptual designs and sketches into accurate technical drawings for site execution and approvals.
Coordinate with design, estimation, and project teams to ensure drawings align with project requirements and timelines.
Prepare layouts for furniture, partitioning, ceiling, flooring, electrical/data outlets, and other interior elements.
Modify and revise drawings as per client feedback, consultant comments, or site conditions.
Ensure all drawings comply with relevant authority regulations (Abu Dhabi Municipality, Civil Defence, etc.).
Maintain drawing registers and ensure proper file naming, versioning, and archiving.
Assist in the preparation of submission drawings for approvals and permits.
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
2-4 years of proven experience in a 2D drafting or design role within the interior fit-out industry in the UAE.
Proficient in AutoCAD (essential), with strong technical drawing and detailing skills.
Basic understanding of space planning, MEP coordination, and joinery detailing.
Knowledge of local authority requirements and submission standards in Abu Dhabi.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
