Job Summary

The Yard Engineer is responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe execution of fabrication, testing, and load-out activities at the yard, in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety procedures. The role involves close coordination with the Yard Manager, Client Representative, and fabrication teams to monitor progress, resolve delays, and ensure adherence to construction plans. The Yard Engineer will also review procedures, inspect workmanship, and contribute to the successful completion of the project.

Key Responsibilities

- Work with Yard Manager and teams to meet quality and schedule goals.

- Monitor construction progress, resolve delays, and suggest fixes.

- Check that procedures, inspections, and safety rules are followed.

- Review plans, documents, and contractor requests for approvals.

- Inspect work and confirm it meets project and international standards.

Requirements

- Education: Diploma/Degree in Engineering or 20+ years of experience.

- Experience: 15+ years in oil & gas, with 10+ years as an Engineer.

- Age: 27-50 years.

- Strong technical and problem-solving skills.

- Attention to safety and quality.

- Good communication for team and client coordination.

Working Conditions

- Site-based role with occasional office work.

- May require extended hours or shifts to meet project deadlines.

WORK HOURS; 8 hours per day

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month
