Job Description
We're looking for a skilled
Workshop Technician - Powertrain
with expertise in rotary aircraft powertrain systems, gearbox maintenance, driveshaft repair, and push-up replacements to join our aviation maintenance team in Abu Dhabi!Key Responsibilities:
Remove and replace powertrain quills, transmission adapting parts, rotary wing hub, and tanks. Disassemble, repair, and reassemble friction dampers, hanger assemblies, and rotor hub components. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and adjust powertrain systems for peak performance. Apply corrosion prevention procedures and ensure proper storage of components. Requisition and maintain aircraft parts and shop inventory. Train host nation personnel in powertrain maintenance procedures. Maintain accurate maintenance records and compliance with industry regulations
Qualifications & Experience:
5+ years' experience in aviation powertrain systems and subsystems. Expertise in rotary aircraft maintenance, gearbox servicing, driveshaft repair & push-up replacements. Formal Powertrain training from a military or civilian aeronautical school. Knowledge of TAMMS preferred
