We are seeking a Workshop Supervisor to lead our Upholstery and Accessories Division. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automotive upholstery as well as knowledge of vehicle accessory installation and related technical work. You will be responsible for managing daily operations, leading a team of technicians, maintaining high quality standards, and ensuring timely delivery of projects.
What You'll Do:
Upholstery:
Supervise upholstery work including seats, ceilings, dashboards, door panels, and carpets.
Guide technicians on materials (leather, fabric, foam), stitching, and fitting techniques.
Ensure all jobs are done to high-quality standards and match customer requirements.
Inspect completed jobs and oversee quality control processes.
Accessories & Technical:
Oversee installation of vehicle accessories including parking sensors, multimedia systems, reverse cameras, lighting, spoilers, tinting, and more.
Coordinate with technicians to diagnose and resolve installation-related technical issues.
Ensure correct wiring, fitment, and alignment of installed products.
Verify compatibility of accessories with vehicle models before installation.
Monitor inventory and order parts or accessories as needed.
Workshop Management:
Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity of the workshop team.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Communicate effectively with service advisors, customers, and suppliers.
Support recruitment, training, and performance evaluations for workshop staff.
Manage tools, equipment, and material usage efficiently.
Ensure adherence to safety and company policies.
What are we Looking for
Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive upholstery and accessories, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong technical knowledge of modern upholstery techniques, automotive accessories, and electrical systems.
Ability to interpret design and technical requirements, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and team coordination skills.
Good communication skills in English (Arabic or Hindi is a plus).
UAE experience is must.
Ability to manage multiple jobs in a fast-paced workshop environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
