Workshop Manager

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced multi-vehicle workshop manager to oversee the daily operations of our workshop that services and repairs a variety of vehicles - light and heavy vehicles, equipments, etc. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of mechanics and technicians, ensuring safety and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, managing inventory, finances, and providing excellent customer service. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of mechanics and technicians, including hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising.
- Ensure that the workshop is operating safely and in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, such as health and safety regulations, environmental regulations, and industry standards.
- Manage inventory of parts, tools, and supplies needed for repairs.
- Track expenses and ensure profitability of the workshop.
- Provide excellent customer service and address any complaints or issues that arise.
- Ensure that customers are satisfied with the services provided by the workshop.
- Maintain a strong understanding of vehicle repair and maintenance procedures, as well as experience with various types of vehicles.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the availability of parts and supplies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure high-quality repairs and services.
- Manage and maintain workshop equipment and tools.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in automotive , Mechnaical, or related field preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in a workshop management role, preferably in a multi-vehicle workshop environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership and management abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong technical expertise in vehicle repair and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and computerized systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Valid UAE driver\xe2\x80\x99s license.
- Ajman: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
