Job Summary:

We are seeking a

Workshop Administrator

to oversee administrative and quality assurance functions within our busy technical workshop. The ideal candidate will act as the backbone of workshop operations -- enforcing systems, supporting technicians, handling documentation, and ensuring smooth communication between the technical team and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control

Enforce workshop systems to ensure all work meets manufacturer and company quality standards. Implement and manage checklists, ensuring quality checks are completed at each stage of work. Act as the go-to person for workflow validation before progression.

Safety & Compliance

Ensure adherence to workshop safety protocols and industry compliance standards. Monitor workplace practices and report any violations or risks to the appropriate authority.

Customer Relations

Address customer inquiries and handle technical follow-ups after initial contact with the front-line technician (Ali). Assist in resolving complaints and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Technical Support

Provide basic technical guidance to workshop staff by interpreting instructions and ensuring correct execution of tasks. Act as a point of reference for technicians regarding procedure clarification and standards.

Administrative Tasks

Assist with the preparation of job quotes, purchase requests, and materials sourcing. Monitor and manage inventory levels and workshop supplies. Maintain accurate records of jobs, inspections, customer communications, and technician schedules.

Job Requirements:

Proven experience in a workshop, technical, or operations admin role (automotive or mobility-related experience is a plus). Strong understanding of workshop procedures and quality standards. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Strong communication and customer service skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and comfortable learning internal systems. Ability to interpret technical instructions and assist in guiding workshop processes. Must be detail-oriented and proactive in problem-solving.
