Position Overview
The Workplace Safety and Health Officer role with Achieve Group in Dubai supports a well-established A1 main contractor delivering building construction projects. This position is critical in driving workplace safety, health, and environmental excellence, ensuring full statutory compliance, and fostering a strong safety culture across active construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and maintain effective workplace safety, health, and environmental work plans in coordination with project teams
• Drive WSH program initiatives and conduct MSRA reviews with appropriate risk control measures
• Carry out regular site inspections to identify gaps and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions
• Ensure continuous compliance with statutory WSHE requirements and regulatory standards
• Prepare and submit WSHE reports, safety data, and monthly statistics to management
• Lead, coach, and supervise site safety personnel while promoting a proactive safety culture
• Liaise with authorities on safety matters, audits, inspections, and compliance reviews
• Support investigations, follow-ups, and other WSHE-related or ad-hoc duties as required

Ideal Profile

• Valid Workplace Safety and Health Officer registration or equivalent certification
• Minimum five years of experience in building construction safety roles
• Recent hands-on experience managing WSHE on active building projects
• Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices
• Self-driven team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
