Job Description

The Work Preparator in the Steel Department is responsible for preparing and organizing all necessary work instructions, materials, tools, and resources required for production processes. This role ensures that the steel manufacturing operations run efficiently by assisting in the preparation of work orders, technical drawings, and setup instructions for steel production, welding, cutting, and other processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Work Preparation:

Review and analyze production schedules, work orders, and project requirements to prepare and allocate materials, tools, and equipment for the steel manufacturing processes. Ensure that work instructions, technical specifications, and drawings are clear and available to production teams. Organize and prepare materials, including raw steel, to meet production schedules.

Material Handling:

Coordinate with inventory and procurement teams to ensure the timely availability of necessary steel materials and tools. Check the quality and quantity of materials received and ensure that all materials are stored properly. Manage material traceability in accordance with production requirements.

Technical Support:

Provide technical assistance to the production team by clarifying work instructions, technical drawings, and production guidelines. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the steel manufacturing processes.

Work Instruction Creation:

Develop and update detailed work instructions, operational procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices. Ensure work preparatory documentation is in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with design, engineering, and quality assurance teams to review and modify production processes, ensuring that the technical requirements are met. Communicate effectively with production personnel to understand specific needs for production processes and provide necessary support.

Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to all safety standards and regulations related to steel production. Maintain proper documentation for safety protocols, including handling of materials, machine setup, and maintenance.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED6,500.00 per month
