Key Responsibilities



Receive, review, and understand all work permits (Hot Work, Cold Work, Confined Space, Electrical, Excavation, etc.). Ensure that job hazards are fully identified and risk mitigation measures are implemented before work begins. Conduct a site inspection of the work area prior to initiating tasks to confirm compliance with permit conditions. Communicate permit requirements, safety instructions, and limitations to the work team. Ensure all personnel working under the permit follow safety procedures and use appropriate PPE. Act as the primary on-site contact between the work crew and the issuing authority (Permit Issuer/Controller). Confirm isolation, lockout-tagout (LOTO), gas testing, and other safety controls are in place as required. Monitor ongoing work to ensure compliance with permit conditions; stop unsafe work immediately when necessary. Ensure work areas are properly barricaded, signposted, and controlled. Request permit extensions, suspensions, or cancellations as needed and ensure proper handback after completion. Maintain clear documentation of all issued permits and associated safety records. Participate in toolbox talks, safety briefings, and job safety analysis (JSA) reviews.

Qualifications:



Saudi Council of Engineers Membership

- 5 years experience as a work permit receiver in Sabic/Aramco or any Petrochemical industry

- Graduate or diploma holder

- Fluent in English and good communication skills
