Job Description

We are seeking an experienced WordPress & WooCommerce Designer & Developer to manage multiple multilingual e-commerce websites for various customers, ensuring top-notch performance, security, and user experience.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience, is fluent in English (Arabic is a plus), and has worked with high-volume e-commerce platforms. Prior experience in digital marketing agencies or IT companies is preferred, as well as familiarity with Shopify, Wordpress plugin development, and custom PHP/frontend scripting.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain multiple WordPress and WooCommerce websites for different clients and regions.

Manage multilingual and multi-site environments, ensuring consistency, performance, and SEO best practices.

Optimize site performance including Core Web Vitals, caching strategies, CDN integration, and database tuning.

Implement and maintain WordPress and WooCommerce security best practices including hardening, malware scanning, and firewalls.

Handle high-traffic e-commerce websites, ensuring stable uptime, quick response times, and smooth user experiences.

Customize themes, build responsive layouts, and ensure a seamless UI/UX across devices and languages.

Configure and integrate payment gateways, shipping APIs, CRM/ERP systems, and marketing tools.

Work closely with branding, marketing, and IT teams to support product launches, promotional campaigns, and seasonal updates.

Manage plugin installations, updates, and develop or extend plugins when required.

Participate in deployment workflows (staging to production), backups, and version control.

Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations across all sites.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in WordPress & WooCommerce development and management.

Proven experience managing multiple websites and e-commerce platforms simultaneously.

Strong knowledge of performance tuning and security best practices for high-volume sites.

Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design frameworks.

Experience working with multilingual sites (WPML, Polylang, etc.) and multisite structures.

Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.

Experience with Shopify is a strong advantage.

Prior experience in digital marketing agencies or IT companies is highly desirable.

Experience in retail / e-commerce domain is an added advantage.

Knowledge of plugin development and extending WooCommerce functionality is a plus.

Familiarity with Git/version control and structured deployment workflows.
