Position Summary:

We are looking for a

highly capable, all-round Full Stack WordPress Developer

who can independently handle

front-end, back-end, database, server, API integrations, SEO, UI/UX, and performance optimization

.
This person will be responsible for developing and maintaining all company and client websites related to

printing, packaging, gifts, and marketing services

.

You should be equally comfortable writing PHP code, optimizing MySQL queries, designing in Elementor, integrating APIs, managing servers, and troubleshooting errors -- with an eye for clean design and conversion-driven results.

Core Duties & Responsibilities

1. Front-End Development (UI/UX + Responsive Design)

Convert design files (Figma, PSD, Canva, Adobe XD) into fully functional, responsive WordPress pages. Develop

custom WordPress themes

and

child themes

from scratch using PHP and template hierarchy. Mastery in

Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, and Custom Theme Development

. Create responsive layouts for all devices (desktop, tablet, mobile) using

CSS Flexbox & Grid

. Ensure pixel-perfect rendering across browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox). Implement

animations, sliders, parallax effects, and interactive UI elements

(GSAP, Swiper, AOS). Manage accessibility (WCAG compliance) and performance-driven front-end architecture. Optimize code for speed and SEO -- minify, lazy load, defer scripts.

2. Back-End Development (Core WordPress & PHP)

Develop and customize

plugins

(custom post types, taxonomy, meta boxes). Write secure, clean, and optimized

PHP

for custom functionalities. Understand

WordPress hooks (actions, filters)

and

shortcodes

for modular functionality. Build

custom dashboards, reports, and backend tools

using PHP/MySQL. Handle

user authentication, registration, login systems, and roles/capabilities

. Integrate

external data sources

and APIs into WordPress. Debug using

WP_DEBUG, Query Monitor, and custom error logs

.

3. Database Management

Manage

MySQL

databases via phpMyAdmin or command line. Design, normalize, and optimize tables for scalability and speed. Create, read, update, delete (CRUD) operations using PHP/MySQL integration. Schedule

automated backups

and optimize database tables. Handle

search queries and indexing

for fast data retrieval.

4. E-Commerce (WooCommerce & Quotation Systems)

Set up and manage

WooCommerce

stores (simple, variable, grouped products). Customize product templates and checkout flows. Build

"Request a Quote" or "Custom Order" modules

suitable for B2B printing/gifting workflows. Integrate

payment gateways

(QPay, Stripe, PayPal). Implement coupon systems, user dashboards, and email automation. Manage

inventory, order tracking

, and

export/import CSVs

for products. Develop

custom pricing calculators

(e.g., for business cards, packaging, etc.).

5. API Integration & Automation

Integrate APIs for CRM, WhatsApp Business API, Google Sheets, or ERP systems. Work with

RESTful APIs

JSON

, and

webhooks

for real-time data exchange. Build automation workflows (e.g., order confirmation emails, lead distribution). Use

Zapier / Make (Integromat)

for connecting WordPress with external services.

6. Server, Hosting, and DevOps

Manage hosting environments:

cPanel, Plesk, VPS, or AWS Lightsail

. Configure domains, subdomains, SSL certificates, DNS records. Handle

website migration, staging, and deployment

between environments. Configure

CDN (Cloudflare, Bunny.net)

and caching layers for performance. Monitor uptime and performance metrics using

UptimeRobot / New Relic

. Automate

cron jobs

for backups, updates, or scheduled content posting. Secure server using firewalls, file permissions, and brute-force protection.

7. Security, Backup & Compliance

Implement

Wordfence / iThemes Security / All-in-One Security

for malware scanning. Regularly update core, themes, and plugins to latest versions. Perform

manual and automated backups

(UpdraftPlus, Jetpack, Duplicator). Remove unused plugins, restrict file uploads, disable XML-RPC, and limit logins. Comply with

GDPR and data privacy standards

for user data collection.

8. SEO & Performance Optimization

Manage on-page SEO (meta titles, schema, sitemaps, robots.txt, breadcrumbs). Optimize loading time (<2 seconds) using caching, image compression, lazy loading. Use

RankMath / Yoast SEO

for meta optimization. Optimize Core Web Vitals using

Lighthouse / GTMetrix / Google PageSpeed

. Integrate

Google Analytics, Search Console, Meta Pixel, Tag Manager

. Generate structured data markup (JSON-LD).

9. Design & Marketing Support

Collaborate with design and content teams for campaigns and landing pages. Build

custom landing pages

for promotional offers, events, or products. Integrate

Mailchimp / Sendinblue

for email marketing automation. Create

pop-ups, lead capture forms

, and funnel pages. Maintain consistent brand look using

typography, color palette, and visual guidelines

.

10. Maintenance & Documentation

Conduct monthly performance, backup, and SEO audits. Document custom codes, API connections, and plugin setups. Create technical SOPs for internal teams (marketing, sales, admin). Ensure version control (GitHub / Bitbucket). Train non-technical staff to update content safely via backend

Soft Skills & Attributes

Analytical and solution-driven mindset. Attention to detail and ability to debug complex systems. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and handle full lifecycle of web projects. Collaboration mindset with designers, marketers, and management. Multitasking across multiple company websites and updates. Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in

Computer Science, Information Technology, or Web Development

5+ years of full-stack WordPress development experience

. Proven record of at least

5 live WordPress/WooCommerce projects
