A well-established joinery workshop in Dubai is looking for an experienced
Wood Polisher / Painter
to join its production and site execution team. The role involves finishing, polishing, and painting of custom furniture and joinery items to a high-quality standard.
Key Responsibilities
Sanding, staining, varnishing, spray painting, and polishing of wooden furniture and joinery works.
Surface preparation including filling, smoothing, and cleaning prior to finishing.
Mixing and matching paints, stains, and polish finishes as per requirements.
Operating spray guns, polishing machines, and hand tools.
Working on MDF, veneer, laminate, and solid wood items.
Ensuring quality finish and meeting production timelines.
Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the polishing/painting area.
Requirements
2-4 years of experience
as a
wood polisher or wood painter
in a joinery or furniture workshop.
Good knowledge of
PU polish, melamine, lacquer, stains, and spray painting systems
.
Ability to work independently and deliver consistent quality.
Must be currently based in the UAE.
