Job Description

We are a well-established joinery and interiors company delivering high-quality projects across residential and commercial sectors. We are looking for an

experienced Painter Foreman

to lead our polishing / painting team, ensuring a top-tier finish across all projects

.



Key Responsibilities:



Supervise and coordinate the polishing / painting team on-site and in the workshop

Oversee surface preparation, spray painting, brush and roller application on timber joinery or site finishes

Ensure all finishes meet quality standards and client expectations

Manage daily schedules and allocate tasks effectively

Conduct quality control inspections and rectify any defects

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Train and mentor junior painters and apprentices

Ensure correct materials and equipment are used and maintained

Track progress and report back to management on timelines and issues

Requirements:



Proven 3-5 years of experience as a polisher / painter foreman or lead polisher / painter (ideally in joinery, fit-out, or construction)

Strong knowledge of polishing / painting techniques including spray finishes, stains, lacquers, and two-pack systems

Leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively

Excellent eye for detail and quality

Ability to read and interpret drawings/specs

Experience in high-end residential or commercial projects
