Responsibilities

Basic Function: Learn the procedures and operation of Wire line equipment / tools / techniques in order to ensure quality and cost effective service is provided to each customer. This position initially entails working with a Senior Engineer and learning about the Cased Hole / Open Hole / Intervention discipline. From here the individual will attend a training school where they will learn a variety of services related to formation evaluation, production logging, perforating services, conveyance, imaging, and explosive and radioactive handling / safety procedures.

Adhere to Safety procedure and policies in accordance with safety management system, Including:

+ Active participation and contribution to specific safety initiatives in meetings.

+ Report all hazardous and unsafe acts.

+ Actively promote positive safety culture.

Adhere to quality procedure and policies in accordance with the ISO9002 (where applicable) quality assurance system, Including:

+ Compliance to work instructions.

+ Raising corrective actions for all non-conformances.

+ Identifying areas requiring improvement and / or audit.

Adhere to main job responsibilities:

+ Assist in planning and preparing for well site operations.

+ To load out Wire line Services equipment to customer locations.

+ Rig up and run operations on location under the instruction of lead logging engineer.

+ Interface with the customer representative and onboard crew.

+ Complete backload equipment as required.

+ Perform maintenance on operational and auxiliary equipment when required.

+ Promote the use of the TOPS reporting system.

+ Perform other duties and special assignments as assigned.

+ Must be certifiable in all applicable governmental compliance programs.

+ May be required to have CDL with hazardous materials endorsement(IF APPLICABLE).

+ Acts under the direction of the Lead Engineer and is responsible for providing the customer quality service in a safe and cost effective manner.

Failure to acknowledge and respond to customers' requirements will result in loss of business, loss of profits, and ultimately loss of jobs.

Qualifications

Required Education:

+ Educated to standard grade level.

+ Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical background.

+ Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills.

+ Computer literate in all aspects of Microsoft Office Applications.

+ Engineering or related degree with no experience required or equivalent oil field/engineer experience.

+ Experience within the Oil and Gas Industry.

+ Educated to degree level in:

+ Petroleum Engineering

+ Mechanical Engineering

+ Chemical Engineering

+ Industrial Engineeringin

RequiredExperience:

+ Mathematical and mechanical aptitude.

+ Principles of electricity.

+ Understanding of fundamental physics.

+ Experience with Electric line logging systems.

+ Good Electronic, Electrical and Mechanical background.
