Job Summary: The Generator Winder, will have technical knowledge and experience working with GE / Alstom / O\xe2\x80\x99OEM large Generators . He/she is responsible for the on-site repair as a Winder you will perform complicated operations involving the inspection, repair, replacement,
Installation and Maintenance of all Mechanical and Electrical components in turbine and Steam Generators with emphasis on the Generator Stator and rotating Field .

Required Qualifications:

• Must have achieved a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Minimum of 10 years of experience conducting and performing large generator repairs inclusive (Generator Stator rewinds / Generator stator re-wedge / High voltage bushing replacement / End winding repairs / Generator rotor repairs / Brazing / etc.. ) in industrial and/or utility power plant.
• Competent of performing mechanical activities (disassembly / reassembly) work on large generators.
• Ability or prior experience leading or supervising a team.
• English language is a must.
• Ability and willingness to travel on short notice to customer sites located domestically and internationally 100% of the time.
• Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain unescorted access to a nuclear fueled facility.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime and weekend shifts.

Desired Qualifications:

• Having unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
• Experience in performing testing / inspection of generators in excess of 80 Megawatts
• Experience with large scale electrical components or as an electrician
• Accomplished skills in their trade with experience on PG Equipment
• Basic Computer Skills
