Welfare Officers

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Welfare Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in assessing the needs of individuals and families, developing support plans, and coordinating services to improve their quality of life.

Minimum requirements:

Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field. Proven experience in a similar role within welfare or social services. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach to client interactions. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Knowledge of local community resources and services is an advantage.
Key responsibilities, but not limited to:

Conduct needs assessments to identify the specific requirements of individuals and families in need of support. Develop and implement tailored support plans in collaboration with clients, addressing their unique circumstances. Coordinate with various agencies and service providers to ensure comprehensive support. Provide guidance, advocacy, and emotional support to clients, helping them navigate social services effectively. Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards. Monitor and evaluate the progress of support plans, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
