The Part-Time Welding Trainer is responsible for providing both practical and theoretical training in various welding techniques, including safety protocols and industry standards. Deliver both classroom and practical instruction in MIG, TIG, Arc, and other welding methods. Develop lesson plans, training content, and assessment tools aligned with course objectives. Maintain a safe and functional training environment, including equipment and workshop oversight. Monitor and evaluate student performance through exams, practical tests, and ongoing assessments. Stay updated on advancements in welding technology and integrate relevant innovations into instruction. Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to support student development. Maintain accurate training documentation and support internal and external audit/compliance processes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Certified Welder or Diploma in Welding Technology (or a related technical field). At least 3 years of hands-on experience in welding and fabrication. Prior teaching or training experience is an added advantage. Strong communication and instructional skills. Solid knowledge of welding codes, safety practices, and regulatory standards.
Willingness to work on a part-time basis.
